Can anyone suggest a distribution amp for use with my Comcast cable
system.
I have one Comcast line coming into my house. Every room in my house
was wired with quad shielded RG6 when the house was being built 5 yrs
ago. The cable line was initially split into two, then three, then 4
lines by the Comcast techs while checking signal quality. I have
gradually put TV into more rooms and now would like a better solution
for 6-8 rooms (not all on at the same time, but signal quality
degrades with each splitter as dB decreases).
I assume that what I need is a powered video distribution amp. Can
anyone suggest a QUALITY unit or does anyone have any other
suggestions. Should I get Comcast involved in this. All my converters
are legal although some of the TVs do not use converters. Would they
have a problem with this many TVs? I certainly do NOT want to pay for
a second cable line.
Thanks,
BB
