What do you all think about Dolby EX? Is it worth springing the extra
bucks? I've been looking at getting a new receiver to replace a 5.1. I'm
going to 6.1 for sure but I keep running accross deals on the older model
receivers w/out Dolby EX. Would it be worth getting a better reciever for
the same money w/out the EX? I've mainly been looking at Denon's and
Marantz's.

Any opinions or advice?

thanks

If you going to buy a new receiver then you should by a 6.1 or 7.1 channel
receiver. But be aware depending on your set up 5.1 may still be a better
choice for Home Theater.
