Wine spots on rug

A while ago someone had a sure-fire easy way to clean wine stains of
light colored rugs. I forgot what it was. Was it cider vinegar???

Grease spots Maybe everyone except me knows this. I had a couple of grease spots on a pair of my slacks which remained after being washed and dried a couple of times. I rubbed Dawn dishwashing liquid into the stains and - poof! - out they came. Dora --

Scott Fiore has a question hard water spots Hi, We just moved into a new home. I don't think the previous owenrs ever cleaned the glass shower doors. Our shower doors seems to be etched with hard water stains. Nothing I have tried will remove them. Even CLR does not remove them. Any suggestions?

Water spots on leaves How can I remove water spots on my orchid leaves? Our well water runs through limestone and therefore leaves white deposits on the leaves when the water dries. Now the leaves are starting to look dull and somewhat unsitely. Any suggestions? -- Laura Hin
