Magnolia HiFi

I made my first trip to a Magnolia HiFi store yesterday. I just looked
around but did not talk to
any of the staff. My concern is that I did not know many of the brands (not
looking for displays
but receiver/speaker choices). I made the trip because of dissatisfaction
with the brands available
at Circuit City/Fry's/etc. Now, my ignorance of the carried brands is
probably just that, ignorance.
Could any of you please comment on the brands that I was not familiar
with and compare them
to what I might find at the "Good Guys" which is the destination of my next
trip. Thanks to all in

Three excellent speaker companies and a really good electronics company. Any
would be a good choice.
Listen to all and buy what sounds the best to you..........
