Hello all,

Looking to purchase a 34" widescreen direct view. I saw a Philips and
really liked it. I want to check out the 2 sony models next. What is the
difference between the KV-34HS510 and the KV34XBR800(soon to be replaced by
the xbr910)?? the 510 is $2000. i can pick up the xbr800 for around $1700
and the 910 will be around $2500. what are the differences in these
models?? anyone have any experiences with any of these models?? any
insight would be much appreciated. thanks alot.

The 510 and XBR are virtually identical. The only differences are in that the
800 has a user adjustable DRC chip and an extra year on it's warranty. The 510
is really little more than a re-badged 800 all in all. The 910 will boast major
improvments to the tube (it's a largely new design) and more features.
