I posted Zektor's recommendation here awhile ago [on alt.tv.tech.hdtv]
and thought I'd expand on it for some other usenet groups....
I bought Zektor's HDMI-5 switch in August '06 and I loved it . . . . .
but I wished it had sequential [one button] input switching, so for the hell
of it I emailed tech support.
The next day, one of their engineers replied that he had spent the
afternoon rewriting the firmware and attached the new firmware to my email.
ISYN.
Truth be told, he said they were considering it anyway, but my suggestion
"broke the camel's back". A few weeks later they added the firmware 1.1
update to their website,
They were using me as their guinea pig, the bastids!
The update works perfectly, as does the switch in general. They are very
expensive higher-end units, but well worth it if that's what you're looking
for.
