How to connect Satellite AND Cable to a Receiver and HDTV

I have the following configuration
A dish Network 311 Satellite Receiver
A Comcast Cable
A Yamaha RX-861 Receiver
A Sony HDTV

How do I connect the 4 to get both the Comcast Cable and Dish
Satellite network at the same time. One way would be to connect the
cable to TV directly but then I have to change the TV input everytime
to switch between Cable and Satellite. Also this way I would not be
able to use the receiver functions with the cable.

Run the Satellite video and audio outputs through the receiver. Run the
cable box video and audio through the receiver. Let the receiver do all the
switching.

If you just have boxless cable (coax out of the wall), you can't do what you
want to do (you need a cable box with appropriate video and audio outputs or
HDMI. Receivers don't do antenna-like coax).

Why not run inputs to the tv separately and get a universal remote that will
do all the switching for you? Logitech/Harmony has several and they work
like champs.
