Hi wonder if someone could tell me if im living in a dream world with
this idea:
If i purchased one of those video/audio wireless sender/receiver units
would i be able to send digital audio over it? for example if I
connected the coax digital output from my cd/dvd player to one of the
audio input (phono) sockets on the sender unit, then on the receiver
unit connect the corresponding audio (phono) socket port to my coax
digital input on my amplifier.
The reason for doing this is i have a pc upstairs in my house with
divx films that have AC3 audio ( either Dolby Digital or DTS ) and i
want to send the video and audio signal (keeping full 5.1 channel
audio) to my tv and dolby digital amp in the living room downstairs
via a wireless solution?
Im thinking maybe the digital audio will get corrupted between the
sender and receiver or the..... frequency?? of digital audio such as
ac3 would not be carried via these units?? ........... or maybe it
would work and i'd be a very happy bloke
thanks in adavance for any advice
