Actually, I think you have to at least call it a tie. While Gen was
putting in the moss and the slate Hildi was in the other house doing the
guy's bedroom completely in black with the claim that she was lightening
the room. And she ripped up the practically new carpet that the
homeowners were trying to protect so that she could paint the cement
floor black.

As far as I'm concerned, this "special" highlighted every thing that is
wrong with this series over the course of two hours. The majority of the
"designers" (and I'm using that term loosely--screaming, irritating,
annoying bitches works a lot better for me) have no talent, yet have
managed to develop egos bigger than the houses they're working in. What
talent they do have (Hey, Faber! Hey, Edward!) is wasted and easily
dismissed. The homeowners seem confused about what's expected of them and
what the outcome will be, but given the behavior of the screaming,
irritating, annoying bitches that have control of the money and completely
ignore the HOs wants and suggestions, who can blame them? I, too, would
probably want to go sit in a closet and sulk for the duration of the 48
hours and then burst into tears when I see what went on at my house. This
show is just not fun anymore, and I used to really like it and look
forward to it. Not anymore. Saturday night did me in. |

True, though cardboard furniture is made to be temporary, from what I've seen.
It starts to give under steady use. And don't forget coasters!

True enough. IIRC it was some sort of cardboard used in wrapping - came in
rolls, not sheets. The chemical smell of the liquid nails likely starts to
seep through, too.

Good point. Of course that whole room was about at temporary as could be.
Can't wait for the fire sprinklers to go off.

Back? That suggests she had been to Design 101 at some time in her life.
Her "designs" say otherwise.

I'm so disapointed! TRADING SPACES HAS GONE 2 HELL! :-( Im so disapointed that TS has really gone to hell this season! I miss the old designers also! And one last thing... It's also a shame that this group has gone to hell along with the show. This used to be a lively group about TS and WYWO and other TLC show
Trading Spaces: The Con is On I've been seeing the promos for this week's upcoming episode. Basically, it's Trading Spaces meets Punk'd, minus Ashton Kutcher. Have the ratings taken another plummet so that they are reduced to using MTV tactics? I don't know whether I would watch out o
